In the case of the NoCal PBX, Regardless of the length of the last name, # will be the flag to "go check," meaning, if I spelled Martinez and I was the only last name in the company that began with a letter "M," I would still need # to tell the switch to go check. I'm sure there is something I'm missing here, but is there a way to determine via command prompt that would lead me to the directory being full if that was it? A setting of some sort that might throw off the 1st digit?
If it was full, why would the switch even bother communicating to me an ext. 8555 (not in the PBX's dialplan at all in NoCal, but in CO's) at all if the directory was full?
Again, I'm sure I'm missing something here, so I'm all ears.
