Re: Directory Option

Gents,

I have a similiar question (problem):

Mgr. has two extensions assigned to him, one in CO and the other in NoCal. CO ext. is 8555 and the NoCal Ext. is 5555. both PBX's are linked in no way. In the NoCal PBX, the AA kicks in, option 9 is pushed for a last name diretory (ex: taco= ext. 5555). A message is returned indicating ext. 8555 is not a valid #, please try again. In otherwords, it spits out the CO #? The Dialplan is ok and there are no extentions with 8XXX as a valid range in it (not in DP).

What is the world would make the PBX do this?

Is it "possible" that if the ext in CO (8555) is call-forwarding to the NoCal ext. (5555) that "maybe" the PBX would some how be confused with the call-forwarding ext. (8555)?

Help?
