Re: Option 11

If you have an existing 3904 programmed on the system you can get the TN for that set and then use the copy command to copy that set info to a different TN (Note: you can only use an unassigned DN for the new set when using the copy command).

LD 11 or 20
req cpy 1 (you can copy more then 1 set at a time)
cust 0
type 3904
cftn (this is the TN of an existing 3904)
sfmt (you will only get this prompt if you are making more then one copy of a set and the responce is normally TNDN which tells the system to prompt you for the TN and then the SDN for the new set).
TN (this is the TN for the new set)
DN (this is the DN for the new set NOTE: the DN must be an unassigned DN, if it is already on another set the system will not let you use it at this prompt. What I do if the DN is already on a different set is pick an unassigned DN and then once the new set is created I do a change on it to put the correct DN on key 0).
If you are making more then one copy you will get the TN and DN prompts for the total noumver of sets you specified with the CPY ? command).

If you do not have an existing 3904 on the system.

LD 11 or 20
req new
cust 0
type 3904
TN
at this point just answer the prompts as they appear, if you do not know the correct responmce for a prompt hjust hit return to accept the default. Once the set is built you can print the TN and compair it to anothe set to see if you need to change anything.
