In other words, just put one NIC in the VM PC and connect it to your network the way you would any other server on your network. Likewise, plug the IPO into the network as if it were a server too.
In a small network, this means everything plugs into the same switch and is assigned to the same IP subnet.
Then, as mentioned, you can open port 3389 in your firewall and direct it to the VM PC, and you'll be able to remote administer your entire telecom setup. I do this all the time and it's by far the easiest way to handle remote admin, IMHO.
