Re: Voice Mail

In Meridian Mail when you program a mailbox there is a line where you can tell the system what extension the message indication should be sent to. You can do a search (Log in and take opt 1 (user administration) then opt 1 again (local user) then press F10 for FIND) for the message waiting indication DN (about the 6th line down input 5256) to see if any other mail box has ext. 5256 set for message waiting indication. Message waiting indication is set to the mailbox DN by default but it can be changed to any valid DN. I have a mailbox for my helpdesk ACD line (ext. 35911) but I want the system to turnon a light I have installed in the cealing so everybody can see it si I set up an analog line with ext. 5555 and have the mailbox for 35911 send message waiting indication to ext. 5555.
