Re: Setting a Phone to Call Forward From the Opt 11 Terminal

Yes, it is possible but it requires a couple of features to be set up.

The Meridian 1 has a Remote Call Forward feature (RCFW) but it is primarily for internal use.

It can be used from external numbers if the Direct Inward System Access (DISA) feature is available on the switch.
DISA in no longer a standard feature on release 25 software and above. It is now an option. This is due to the possibility that the feature may be used by dial through fraudsters.

This is not the same as Direct Dialling In (DDI), which you probably use at present.

DISA is a password protected, gateway into the Meridian 1, which allows the external user to effectively become an extension user with most of the usual features being available to them.

This includes dialling out of the switch over the PSTN or an internal network. Remote Call Forward is one of the features supported.

DISA is setup in LD 24, 16 14
