Re: Definity Server & Repaired Audix Box
Let's start with some basic questions.
.What type and release is the Definity? Since the boards are in carrier 1A, I will assume it is in the Sys 75, G1, G3i family.
.How does the Intuity connect to your switch, I assume it connects to the Processor Interface on the A carrier and uses a Processor Channel but please confirm that. This connection assumes (there's that word again) that the Definity is new enough to have that connector, if it is older then the Intuity will use a data module.
.Are the analog boards that were assigned to it in the Definity still there and are the cross connects still in place?
.Assuming a Processor Channel, what do you get when you status link x?
.When you status the Processor Channel (usually 59 on an older switch), what do you get?
.When you go into diagnostics in the Intuity, does it see the link up?
.Did you assign the extensions back into the Voice Group in the Intuity and when you go to the monitor screen are they all in service? Make sure that the extensions are assigned to the Voice Group in the same order they are in the Definity hunt group.
.Did you restart the Audix service in the Intuity (assign it to Number Services)?
