CLANs do not auto negotiate well, I recommend setting a speed. The speed you can use will depend on the physical wiring on the PBX carrier this CLAN is in. To use 100M the Ethernet adapter at the CLAN must be the black one. Also the internal wiring from the amphenol that adapter is plugged into and the backplane of the carrier must be multi-colored (not white).

If you meet both those requirements, then set the CLAN and all data ports in the circuit to 100M/Full, no negotiation. If you do not meet both requirements, then set the speed to 10M/Half, no negotiation.

Avaya recommends that a CLAN being used for CMS be dedicated for that use only, to make sure that happens put the CLAN in its' own network region.

How you do any of the above is dependant on your PBX release.
